Mad Soul Child - Dear

from the movie, The Man From Nowhere (아저씨). missed the sold out showings at HIFF last year...but i got my copy in the mail the other week! see this movie. best action flick i've seen since Taken.

got a quarter tank of gas...

march was a very expensive month for me. i am officially broke! i'm usually pretty thrifty when it comes to large purchases for myself...but after saving and saving for a while, i ended up treating myself to some shiny new toys (amongst other things).

-Goyard St Louis tote that i regretted not buying in NYC. wish i customized it when i was in SF!

she & him

She & Him's Volume 2 (2010) has been helping me through some trying times lately. the "she" is the beautiful Zooey Deschanel, and the "him" is M. Ward. I still remember the first time I heard Zooey Deschanel sing in the movie, Elf, and I was captivated by her voice. not that she has the greatest voice, but there's something about it that makes me want to hear more. so help me help you through whatever shitty situation you're going through by picking up this album. reminiscent of the '60s (and camera obscura, imo), and poppier than what i usually like, but suits my needs right now.
